Yes. Our translations are produced by a qualified, sworn translator and accompanied by a signed Certification of Translation Accuracy on Gems letterhead. This meets the documentation requirements of all major embassies in Windhoek, Namibian Home Affairs, the High Court, and other official authorities. If you are unsure of the specific requirements for your application, confirm directly with the authority what they need, then contact us.
Yes. Police clearance certificates (criminal record clearances) are among the most common documents we translate for visa and immigration purposes. We translate them from and into all major languages including German, French, Portuguese, Spanish, and others. The translated document is certified and ready for embassy submission.
Standard turnaround is 1–2 business days for most documents. If you have a deadline, tell us when you submit — for urgent requirements, contact us directly by phone or WhatsApp on +264 81 124 2438. We will advise based on your document and language pair.
We cover all major European languages including German (covering Germany, Austria, and Switzerland), French, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, and Dutch, as well as Mandarin Chinese, and all 14 official Namibian regional languages including Oshiwambo, Otjiherero, Afrikaans, Rukwangali, Silozi, and Khoekhoegowab. If your document is in a language not listed here, contact us and we will confirm whether we can assist.
A clear scan or photograph is sufficient for us to complete the translation. The original document is not required for the translation itself. However, some authorities may require you to submit the original alongside the certified translation — this is a requirement of the authority, not of us. Check with the embassy or office you are submitting to.
A certified translation from Gems includes the full translated text of your document plus a signed Certification of Translation Accuracy on Gems Printing and Translation Agency CC letterhead. This certification confirms that the translation is a true and accurate reflection of the original and is signed by Kandeshi Helena Vatuva-Shipepe, Managing Director. This meets the requirements of embassies, Home Affairs, courts, and government ministries.
